    Masters of Science in Sport Science, Exercise Physiology

    Masters of Science in exercise physiology, with a focus on sport science. Coursework included projects in team sport full season weight room programming, test battery creation, and return to performance criteria.

    Sport Science/Strength and Conditioning Fellow

    Responsible for all weight room data tracking across multiple strength programs, as well as post processing, hygiene, and reporting. Completed a full revamp of the organization’s jump testing procedures, metric usage, and implementation of specialty tests with force plates. Ran jump fore plate tests through Vald hardwares, along with visualization of data for players and reports for staff. Ran player tracking technology during practice, with specific live reporting on targeted players. Led external load tracking on return to play athletes, including daily reporting. Wrote strength program for multiple positions within organizational periodization and volume frameworks. Coached lifts daily on the floor with all athletes.

    Nebraska Athletic Performance Laboratory

    Applied Sport Science Intern

    In charge of load monitoring and readiness testing for 8 of Nebraska’s 23 varsity sports, assisted in return to play testing and protocol implementation, and consulted with multiple departments within team structures to improve athlete performance. Familiarized with load monitoring techniques, biomechanics analysis, and research experiment methods. Consulted with external professionals in sport regarding sport science implementation. Ran a proof of concept study for the Athletic Shoulder Health test for use as a readiness metric and chronic fatigue measure in baseball pitchers. Presented data collected from 1080Sprint analysis, slow motion cameras, and force plate jumps to athletes for improvement in sprint mechanics, and gave similar presentations to coaching staffs pertaining to injury recovery and absolute performance.

    Tasked with daily logistics of Vert wearable technology for practice, training, and games for all athletes, including data analysis and presentation for sport coaches. Assisted in strength and conditioning programming and implementation, with focus on linear speed and power development and sport-specific conditioning protocols.
