About me
I am a graduate of the University of Szczecin, majoring in Sports Science. My thesis topics were “Selected Physical Performance Parameters of Ekstraklasa Teams (seasons 2018/2019)” and “Assessment of Maximum Velocity Using the Example of Pogon Szczecin Football Players in Ekstraklasa”. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD studies at the University of Szczecin’s Doctoral School. My research focuses on the variability of intensity levels in the Polish Ekstraklasa football matches, aiming to confirm the hypothesis that Polish football is becoming increasingly intense and undergoing a transformation from purely endurance-based to speed-strength-oriented sport.
In 2018, I joined the Pogon Szczecin Academy as a strength conditioning coach. Since 2020, I have been a member of the first team’s coaching staff, serving as a physical performance analyst and assistant of strength conditioning coach. My responsibilities include monitoring training loads using the GPS Catapult monitoring system, generating reports, supporting the work of the physiotherapy staff during the return-to-play process, and visualizing the data. Additionally, I conduct physical performance tests for the academy teams, utilizing measurement tools such as PUSH, SmartSpeed, ForceDecks, ForceFrame, and NordBord.
My main area of interest lies in the field of strength&conditioning preparation in football, and it is in this area that I strive to further enhance my qualifications.
