The UK Sports Institute (previously known as the EIS) and UK Athletics have an exciting opportunity for a full time Physical Preparation Coach to work with their Olympic programme in Loughborough.
A snapshot of the role…
The Olympic program physical performance coach will play an important role in delivering to, and ensuring alignment between, both WCP and pathway athletes and coaches. The role will provide three important functions:
Provide ongoing support around physical performance through the delivery of strength and conditioning support.
Collect and/or assist in the collection of strength diagnostic, biomechanical and various field based physiological assessments.
Under the direction of the sport science and physical performance lead, and the pathway manager, support the pathway programs to ensure the development of athletes who are capable of thriving under the training required for success at future Major Competitions
